Vlog Club | My Top Five Chick Flicks

Last month, my friends and I decided to start a little vlogging club.

Vlog Club is a monthly link up where some of my friends and I all share a video of our Top Five. The theme changes every month — this month’s theme is ‘Top Five Chick Flicks’.

Top FIVE chick flicks? This was tricky. There are SO many films I love that fit the ‘chick flick’ bracket and narrowing it down to just five proved fairly difficult.

I’ve managed it though (although my boy doesn’t think that two of them necessarily fulfil the standard chick flick criteria).

But as I say in the following film, I’m a chick and I like these flicks. Therefore, in my estimation — rightly or wrongly— they’ve made the short list.

Have a look at this month’s vlog and let me know what you think! Would you consider these films to be chick flicks?

If you vlog and would like to get involved, you can email any of us who have films in the linky box below and we’ll send you the details.

We’d love you to join in!

You have such a mix! I love pretty woman too and my favourite part is when they are waiting by the lift, but not because of the quote you said but when she says ‘well colour me happy there’s a sofa in here for two!!’ Haha just love it. x

Hahaha! I so very nearly said that!!!!! LOL!!! LOVE it!! It’s SUCH a good film isn’t it? Who’d have thought a girl could grow up aspiring to be a high class prostitute?! ;)

I adore Practical Magic! And, like you, I can join in with pretty much every line in Pretty Woman.

I would love to join in with Vlog Club but I have never filmed myself before, or put anything on YouTube so wouldn’t know where to start, and I’m sure no one would want to hear my half Cockney half Norfolk bumpkin accent – Gah! (I may look at giving it a go at some point this week, if I can pluck up the courage). xxx

I bloody LOVE that film!! ‘Put the lime in the coconut and drink it all up…’ — I’m desperate to watch it again, after talking about it!! ;)
Aah Catherine — DO join in!! I just use my phone to film. And I’ve got iMovie on my mac — although I seem to have the app on my phone too, as standard. Would love to have you involved!! Initially the whole vlogging malarkey seems a bit daunting but the Vlog Club topics make it really fun! Plus it’s only 5 things, it’s so easy to do. Would LOVE to hear your half cockney/half bumpkin accent!! ;) xx
