134 weeks | Me and Mine {September}

September; in and out like the blink of an eye.

In fact the whole summer seems to have absolutely flown by — we were just chatting last night and my boy and I both feel as though this whole year has passed too quickly.

Last year was so full. Our sons’ naming day, multiple camping trips, not to mention numerous festivals and parties galore.

This year has seemed a LOT quieter. Sure we’ve been to three festivals and had a camping trip/party but the summer just seems to be over as soon as it started.

Back to September.

We had Shambala at the beginning, followed by a lovely weekend with friends, I had the MADS awards, then last weekend it was my niece’s third birthday.

All in all a busy, fun month. Albeit too short.

So this month’s pictures are a bit rushed (when aren’t they?). They’re phone pics again but they’re a *bit* special as it’s not just the four of us this time — but seven!

This month we managed to get a family pic with my sister, brother-in-law and niece! My BIL looks pretty grumpy which totally belies the fact that we’d just had a lovely afternoon celebrating my little niece turning three.

The quality is of these is pretty darn appalling  to be honest. Night time + phone + from a distance = grainy photographs. Hey-ho. I promise to do better next month ;)

So, in a nutshell, September looks like this:

This month’s highs ~
• The MADS awards. OK, I didn’t win but it was still fabulous to be there!
• A lovely day out at Coton Manor.

This month’s lows ~
• Summer is over. That’s always a low point in my estimation.
• The passing of my lovely schoolfriend, Jenni.

  1. Your boys are getting so BIG! Goodness. They’re gorgeous little people, as beautiful as their mummy. I love to watch them grow and have that insight into what’s coming up for us.

I’m so sorry to hear about your friend.

  2. It is so hard to get any sort of family photo when there are kids involved isn’t it! Mine are always rushed, you know what though it doesn’t matter about the quality as we can see your smiles and the fun of you all together. Lovely happy photos. xx
