Home Etc #85

Welcome to this week’s Home Etc!

I’m really struggling this week — we didn’t get back from Cornwall until late on Monday night. So instead of feeling relaxed and refreshed I’m playing catch-up and am feeling a little bit tired.

I didn’t want to leave, if the truth be told, I could have easily stayed for another couple of days. It’s a long way to go for a long weekend but we couldn’t spare the holiday to stay any longer.

But hey. It’s Home Etc day which means lots of lovely homes and gardens to cheer me up and buoy my spirits!

Home Etc Favourites

First favourite from last week was from Phillipa who blogs at The Maker Place.

She interviewed winner of the Great Interior Design Challenge — Daniela Tasca York — who shared her thoughts on being judged by Kelly Hoppen and winning the coveted GIDC title this year.

Another favourite came from Catherine who writes over at Growing Family.

She gave us a little glimpse of spring, in a lovely post about flowering plants in a late winter garden.

Well done to both of you lovelies  — your names are now both in the hat to win this month’s voucher from our fabulous sponsor, Laura Ashley.

Thanks so much everyone, for linking in, we love seeing what you’ve been up to!

This month’s winner…

Jess and I unanimously agreed that our overall winner for this month should be Becky who blogs over at The Spirited Puddle Jumper.

Becky wins this month’s £20 Laura Ashley voucher. Congratulations — hopefully you’ll be able to buy something lovely for your home once it’s renovated!!

Thanks so much everyone, for linking in.

HOME ETC HOUSE-RULES

1) Please include our lovely #HomeEtc badge at the bottom of your post.

The Twinkle Diaries

2) You may link up to two posts — new or old (sometimes the old posts are forgotten about, so please dust them down and show them off; we’d love to read them!)  — but no more than two posts each week please.

3) Please be kind enough to comment on your HOSTS’ POSTS which will always be the first two entries in the link up — plus a couple of others. Blog hops only work if you’re as generous with your comments as you are at sharing your posts.

Be sure to tweet —@twinklediaries or @JessSoothill — with the url to your post, using the hashtag #HomeEtc and Jess or I will always retweet (sometimes both of us if you’re lucky)! ;)

Finally, Jess and I will pick one favourite post each week then at the end of the month we’ll choose an overall winner. This lucky blogger will receive a £20 voucher from our fabulous sponsor!

#HomeEtc the hashtag

Jess and I love catching up with this fab little community on Instagram. Tag your home and garden pics with the Home Etc hashtag and we can see what you’ve been up to and give them some love!

Lots of love,

Caro & Jess x

So lovely isn’t it? She’s so brave, applying for that!!! I LOVE homes and interiors — and have always been a bit obsessed by anything deco related ‚ but I’d be far too scared to put myself forward for something like that!!!!
