Home Etc #79

It’s feeling decidedly festive this week! I was browsing through the Home Etc hashtag on Instagram last night and there are some really gorgeous shots on there, with a decidedly Christmassy flavour.

I’m definitely feeling that sparkly season is now well underway; particularly after being treated to the HomeSense Christmas bloggers party last week.

It’s so lovely to see that folk are using the #HomeEtc hashtag on Instagram! If ever you post  anything home, interiors, DIY, craft & garden related please do join in – we love seeing your pictures — and it’s a really fantastic way of keeping up to date with the Home Etc community. You don’t even have to have a blog to get involved!

Home Etc Favourites

Favourite posts from last week’s Home Etc came from Gemma at Two Little Misters and Rachel who blogs over at the Ordinary Lovely.

Gemma shared the most fabulous DIY Christmas gift idea for under a tenner.

A really sweet idea comprising of a box of 12 little photographs plus all the other components you need to create a mini photo bunting kit.

Such a lovely idea and a sure fire hit (that’s if you can bear to be parted with it!).

Our second favourite was from Rachel.

She wrote about middle age and side tables — and it made me laugh because I’ve been on the look out for a low side-table for our sitting room!! I am SO middle aged!! I actually found one in the Black Friday sale (under the guise of a stool) from Redoute.

I’m really looking forward to it’s arrival; particularly as I’m not sure how many more ‘near misses’ we can suffer, with little feet so very nearly kicking over cups of tea or — worse — glasses of red wine on the carpet!!

I loved Rachel’s customisation — such a pretty colour.

Well done both of you — you’re now in the running to win this month’s voucher from our fabulous sponsor, Laura Ashley. The winner will be announced next week.

Thanks so much everyone, for linking in.
