Home Etc #73

Morning everyone. Wednesday again already — we’ve nearly broken the back of this working week!

Welcome to this week’s Home Etc — a fabulous showcase for all things home; interiors, garden, crafts and upcycling.

Home Etc is a weekly link up for bloggers who have written posts that include interiors (wish lists, room tours or DIY), garden or allotment ideas, plus crafting or thrifting.

We have such a lovely little community and since we began, my good friend Jess and I — plus all our readers — have been treated to some creative and inspiring content from some really amazing bloggers.

If you’re a fan of all things ‘home and garden’ and have a post that you’d like to share,  would love you to come and link up.

Home Etc Favourites

There was a definite theme running through last week’s posts — autumn is definitely in the air — and we had not one but two little fabric pumpkin tutorials.

It wouldn’t be fair to mention one without the other so this week there are our two very topical winners!

The first is from Fionnuala at Three Sons Later.

Her little pumpkins are made of fabric.

Sweet little fabric pumpkin from Fionnu at Three Sons Later…

The second are of the crochet variety from Hooked.

…and some fab little crochet pumpkin decorations from Hooked!

It would be lovely to have a combination of the two — both fabric and wool — they’re the perfect decorations for an autumnal home and of course Halloween which is just around the corner.

Well done to both of you girls.

Your names are now in the mix, to win this month’s voucher from our brand new sponsor — Laura Ashley — which will be announced in 2 week’s time.

Thanks so much everyone, for linking in. We really, really enjoy reading all your posts!

All we ask is that you follow these 3 little rules:

1) Please include our lovely #HomeEtc badge at the bottom of your post.

The Twinkle Diaries

2) You may link up to two posts — new or old (sometimes the old posts are forgotten about, so please dust them down and show them off; we’d love to read them!)  — but no more than two posts each week please.

3) Please be kind enough to comment on your HOSTS’ POSTS which will always be the first two entries in the link up — plus a couple of others. Blog hops only work if you’re as generous with your comments as you are at sharing your posts.

Be sure to tweet —@twinklediaries or @soot1978 — with the url to your post, using the hashtag #HomeEtc and Jess or I will always retweet (sometimes both of us if you’re lucky)! ;)

Finally, Jess and I will pick one favourite post each week then at the end of the month we’ll choose an overall winner. This lucky blogger will receive a £20 voucher from our fabulous new sponsor!

Thanks so much for linking up all your fabulous posts. Jess and I look forward to reading more of the same this week!

The linky portal is open until midday on Friday.

#HomeEtc the hashtag

Jess and I are delighted that some of you lovely people are using the #HomeEtc hashtag on Instagram! Please do join in – we love seeing your pictures.

Whenever you are on Instagram and posting anything home, interiors, DIY, craft & garden related please do use the #HomeEtc hashtag. We would love to see your Instagram photographs and give them some love!

Lots of love,

Caro & Jess x

Oh how lovely to wake up to this. I adored those crocheted pumpkins too and made myself one last night. Now I have a four hour train journey ahead of me and have packed my crochet so I can make more!
    Thanks Caro!

Aaah I’d LOVE to be able to crochet. I haven’t even attempted it yet, as I just don;t have time for yet another hobby!!! Maybe when all the shed posts are done, I will!
