Home Etc #69

It’s feeling decidedly autumnal this week — the air smells fresher and has lost the warmth of recent weeks.

Welcome to this week’s Home Etc — a fabulous showcase for interiors.

Home Etc is a weekly link up for bloggers who have written posts that include interiors (wish lists, room tours or DIY), garden or allotment ideas, plus crafting or up-cycling; over the weeks we’ve had some fabulous and inspiring content.

If you’re a fan of all things ‘home and garden’ and have a post that you’d like to share, my good friend Jess and I would love you to come and link up.

Home Etc Favourites

Favourite posts from last week came from Fionnuala at Three Sons Later and Lins who blogs over at Boo and Maddie.

Fionnuala showed us her upcycled toy grocery shop. I remember when she first mentioned it, back in October last year, and there was much discussion about how she should paint it — what colour and style etc.

It’s so lovely to see the finished item now.  Such a gorgeous thing to inspire a child and ignite imaginative play.

Such a gorgeous upcycle — well done Fionnu!

Lins’ post was a little further away from home — she shared her recent holiday in Cornwall and showed us the most beautiful self-catering cottage from Cornish Gems.

I’m excited to be an ambassador for Bosinver Farm Cottages  for 2017 — more about that on the blog very soon — so I’m looking forward to spending some time in Cornwall myself next year.

Lins stayed in a cottage on the Roseland Peninsula and chose it because it meant she and Pete could take their lovely pooch Maddie with them.

Home Etc

So lovely to go on holiday and have this lovely sight waiting for you!

Such a beautiful place; lovely to be able to take your dog on a self-catering holiday — particularly on a luxury basis.

Congratulations to both of you! Your names are now in the hat, to win this month’s voucher from our generous sponsor which will be announced next week.

Thanks so much everyone, for linking in. Jess and I really, really enjoy reading all your posts!

All we ask is that you follow these 3 little rules:

1) Please include our lovely #HomeEtc badge at the bottom of your post.

The Twinkle Diaries

2) You may link up to two posts — new or old (sometimes the old posts are forgotten about, so please dust them down and show them off; we’d love to read them!)  — but no more than two posts each week please.

3) Please be kind enough to comment on your HOSTS’ POSTS which will always be the first two entries in the link up — plus a couple of others. Blog hops only work if you’re as generous with your comments as you are at sharing your posts.

Be sure to tweet —@twinklediaries or @soot1978 — with the url to your post, using the hashtag #HomeEtc and Jess or I will always retweet (sometimes both of us if you’re lucky)! ;)

Finally, Jess and I will pick one favourite post each week then at the end of the month we’ll choose an overall winner. This lucky blogger will receive a £20 voucher from our fabulous sponsor!

Psst… as well as HomeSense the voucher can also be spent in TK Maxx!

Thanks so much for linking up all your lovely posts. We look forward to reading more of the same this week! The linky portal is open until midday on Friday.

#HomeEtc the hashtag

Finally, Jess and I are delighted to see so many of you lovelies using the #HomeEtc hashtag on Instagram! I have picked 9 of my favourite Instagram photos from the last few weeks!
