Home Etc #65

Wednesday = Home Etc  day!

For anyone who’s hasn’t come across Home Etc before; it’s a weekly link up for bloggers who have written a post that includes interiors (DIY, wish lists or room tours). Garden or allotment news plus crafting or up-cycling content.

If you’re a home-bird and have a post that you’d like to share, my co-host Jess (who writes over at Mummy Of Boy Girl Twins) and I would be delighted for you to come and link up with us!

 Home Etc favourites

We had a fab number of posts linking up last week! One favourite came from Alex who blogs over at Bump To Baby.

She shared her loft conversion and — my — what a swoon-worthy space.

It’s particularly lovely when you look at how it was to start off with!

I always love seeing a good before and after and Alex and Adam’s loft conversion shows such a fab transformation.

A couple of little glimpses inside Alex’s lovely space. Pop and have a read of her post to see more!

Another favourite came from Keira who blogs over at Dekko Bird. She shared her love of wood — and had pulled together a glorious gallery of fabulous inspiration.

My favourite was this:

Gorgeous apothecary cabinet — original source

Such lovely combo. I love the contrast of the dark wooden apothecary cabinet against all the white.

Well done to you two ladies — your names are now in the hat for this month’s voucher from HomeSense.

This month’s winner…

Because we loved her post so much, Jess and I unanimously agreed that our overall winner for this month should be Alex.

Alex wins a £20 HomeSense voucher (that can also be spent in TK Maxx). Congratulations — hopefully you’ll be able to buy something lovely to go in your gorgeous new loft conversion!

Thanks so much everyone, for linking in. Jess and I really, really enjoy reading all your posts!

All we ask is that you follow these 3 little rules:

1) Please include our lovely #HomeEtc badge at the bottom of your post.

The Twinkle Diaries

2) You may link up to two posts — new or old (sometimes the old posts are forgotten about, so please dust them down and show them off; we’d love to read them!)  — but no more than two posts each week please.

3) Please be kind enough to comment on your HOSTS’ POSTS which will always be the first two entries in the link up — plus a couple of others. Blog hops only work if you’re as generous with your comments as you are at sharing your posts.

Be sure to tweet —@twinklediaries or @soot1978 — with the url to your post, using the hashtag #HomeEtc and Jess or I will always retweet (sometimes both of us if you’re lucky)! ;)

Finally, Jess and I will pick one favourite post each week then at the end of the month we’ll choose an overall winner. This lucky blogger will receive a £20 voucher from our fabulous sponsor!

Psst… as well as HomeSense the voucher can also be spent in TK Maxx!

Thanks so much for linking up all your lovely posts. We look forward to reading more of the same this week! The linky portal is open until midday on Friday.

#HomeEtc the hashtag

Finally, Jess and I are thrilled that some of you lovely folk are using the #HomeEtc hashtag on Instagram! Please do join in – we would love you to use it too!

Whenever you are on Instagram and posting anything home, interiors, DIY, craft & garden related please do use the #HomeEtc hashtag. We would love to see your Instagram photographs and give them some love!

Lots of love,

Caro & Jess x
