Home Etc #62

It’s time for this week’s Home Etc; the weekly blogger link-up for home and garden obsessed folk to come and share their posts.

I wasn’t supposed to be here this week — I should have been in beautiful Devon — but life sometimes gets in the way and we had to come home. On the positive, it means that I didn’t have to leave my lovely friend and co-host Jess to cope alone!

As I’m writing this, the rain is hammering down on the roof of my garden office and the grey skies outside the window are a far cry from the weekend’s colour and vibrancy at Camp Bestival — more on the blog about that later!! I have a million photos to download first! ;)

HomeEtc Favourites

We had some lovely posts linking into last week’s Home Etc  — one particular favourite came from Molly who blogs over at Molly and The Princess. She shared her love of Christy bedlinen and I can totally see why she’s fallen for this beautiful Lillian design, teamed with the zingy ochre coloured pillow shams.

You’d definitely sleep with in this lovely combo

Another post that we loved came from Steph who writes over at Life at 139a.

She showed off her beautiful inherited coffee set.

Such gorgeous style — these wouldn’t be out of place in Cath Kidston!

It’s so stylish and gives a perfect example of showing how good design just doesn’t date. The lovely illustrations and cool curves wouldn’t be out of place on the shelves of Liberty or Cath Kidston these days, would they?

I love them!

Well done to both of you ladies! You’re both now in the running to win next month’s voucher from our lovely sponsor, HomeSense.

The winner will be announced in 3 week’s time. Thanks so much everyone, for linking in!

All we ask is that you follow these 3 little rules:

1) Please include our lovely #HomeEtc badge at the bottom of your post.

The Twinkle Diaries

2) You may link up to two posts — new or old (sometimes the old posts are forgotten about, so please dust them down and show them off; we’d love to read them!)  — but no more than two posts each week please.

3) Please be kind enough to comment on your HOSTS’ POSTS which will always be the first two entries in the link up — plus a couple of others. Blog hops only work if you’re as generous with your comments as you are at sharing your posts.

Be sure to tweet —@twinklediaries or @soot1978 — with the url to your post, using the hashtag #HomeEtc and Jess or I will always retweet (sometimes both of us if you’re lucky)! ;)

Finally, Jess and I will pick one favourite post each week then at the end of the month we’ll choose an overall winner. This lucky blogger will receive a £20 voucher from our fabulous sponsor!

Psst… as well as HomeSense the voucher can also be spent in TK Maxx!

Thanks so much for linking up all your lovely posts. We look forward to reading more of the same this week! The linky portal is open until 11.58pm on Saturday, so lots of time to join in.

#HomeEtc the hashtag

Jess and I are thrilled that some of you lovely people are using the #HomeEtc hashtag on Instagram! Please do join in – we love seeing your pictures.

Whenever you are on Instagram and posting anything home, interiors, DIY, craft & garden related please do use the #HomeEtc hashtag. We would love to see your Instagram photographs and give them some love!

Lots of love,

Caro & Jess x

Shame you had to come home from Devon! Thank you so much for picking my bed linen post (I got a shock – it’s so strange seeing pics of my bedroom on someone else’s blog!). I’m in great company with Life at 139a’s gorgeous coffee pot post. Have a great week Caro, and thanks for hosting #HomeEtc

It was SUCH a shame — sad times indeed. And YES!! I LOVED your post — how could we not have chosen it?! I think it was the yellow pillow shams that got me!! ;)
