Home Etc #60

WOOOO-HOOOO! Summer has finally arrived folks!! Let’s make the most of it eh? No moaning about the heat please! ;)

Welcome to this week’s Home Etc!

Home Etc is a weekly link up for bloggers who have written posts that feature interiors (wish lists, room tours or DIY), garden or allotment ideas, plus crafting or up-cycling.

If you’re a fan of all things ‘home’ (etc) and have a post that you’d like to dust down and show off, Jess and I would love you to come and link up with us!

Home Etc Favourites

First post comes from lovely Lins who blogs over at Boo and Maddie.

She’d mentioned that she was off on an exciting press trip to the home of Villeroy and Boch in Mettlach, Germany, a few week’s ago and all the Home Etc regulars were very excited to read about her adventures.

Her post didn’t disappoint! SO many gorgeous pictures. Really, do go and have a read if you haven’t already!!

WOW. The most fabulous bathroom ever?

Another fave came from Rachel who blogs over at The Ordinary Lovely.

She shared her little boy’s bedroom. SO full of colour and clever little touches.

Clever colour in The Ordinary Lovely’s home

Rachel and I are both lucky enough to be testing team members for the Great Little Trading Company this year and it’s so lovely to see how other people use the products in their homes.

I love the combination of white with bold splashes of colour — the twins’ nursery is similar in that respect. Very soon we’ll be taking the cot sides off and turing it into a ‘bedroom’ rather than a nursery though!! I’m excited and nervous about it, all rolled into one!

Anyway, I digress. Very well done to both of you. Your names are now in the mix, to win this month’s voucher from our generous sponsor, which will be announced in 5 week’s time.

Thanks so much everyone, for linking in. We really, really enjoy reading all your posts!

All we ask is that you follow these 3 little rules:

1) Please include our lovely #HomeEtc badge at the bottom of your post.

The Twinkle Diaries

2) You may link up to two posts — new or old (sometimes the old posts are forgotten about, so please dust them down and show them off; we’d love to read them!)  — but no more than two posts each week please.

3) Please be kind enough to comment on your HOSTS’ POSTS which will always be the first two entries in the link up — plus a couple of others. Blog hops only work if you’re as generous with your comments as you are at sharing your posts.

Be sure to tweet —@twinklediaries or @soot1978 — with the url to your post, using the hashtag #HomeEtc and Jess or I will always retweet (sometimes both of us if you’re lucky)! ;)

Finally, Jess and I will pick one favourite post each week then at the end of the month we’ll choose an overall winner. This lucky blogger will receive a £20 voucher from our fabulous sponsor!

Psst… as well as HomeSense the voucher can also be spent in TK Maxx!

Thanks so much for linking up all your lovely posts. We look forward to reading more of the same this week! The linky portal is open until 11.58pm on Saturday, so lots of time to join in.

#HomeEtc the hashtag

Jess and I are thrilled that some of you lovely people are using the #HomeEtc hashtag on Instagram! Please do join in – we love seeing your pictures.

Whenever you are on Instagram and posting anything home, interiors, DIY, craft & garden related please do use the #HomeEtc hashtag. We would love to see your Instagram photographs and give them some love!

And the winner is…

Finally, we are delighted to announce that our overall winner for this month is the blog ExtraordinaryChaos; Jess and I both love seeing little glimpses into Sarah’s lovely home.

Well done Sarah — your prize is a £20 HomeSense voucher (that can also be spent in TK Maxx) — we love your posts! Enjoy spending your winnings!

Lots of love,

Caro & Jess x
