Home Etc #6 — Home and Garden Inspired Blog Hop

Wednesday already and it’s time for another Home Etc link up :)

I wrote a couple of days ago about my experience at this year’s Britmums, over the weekend.  I was there with my lovely co-host Jess — from mummy of boy girl twins — and we were delighted to see our friend — and regular HomeEtc linker — Rachel who writes over at the gorgeous blog ‘The Ordinary Lovely‘ scoop the prize for the Fresh Voice category.

So well deserved — congratulations Rachel — we are absolutely delighted for you!

We had some lovely posts linking up with us last week but — as ever — Jess and I can only choose one favourite each.

My favourite came from the blog The Chimney Pot — Tracy shared the amazing transformation of her garden shed to an adorable playhouse.

What a difference a can of paint and some bunting can make. I dreamt of a Wendy-house like that when I was a child :)

Such an amazing transformation by The Chimney Pot

Tracy’s blog is an old favourite of mine. She and I were partners in a #CraftBlogClub  make project a couple of years ago and she made The Twinkles the most beautiful fabric stars for their nursery.

Jess’ favourite was by the gorgeous Kerri-Ann who writes over at  Life As Our Little Family.

She shared her amazing bedroom makeover on a previous edition of Home Etc but last week’s post was a line up of all things lovely, that have transformed the room into the restful haven that it is today.

Beautiful bedlinen from Life As Our Little Family

Such a lovely round up of items; I am totally in love with the beautiful Laura Ashley bedding she’s used in the picture above. Just gorgeous.

You’d be sure to have sweet dreams sleeping in such a beautifully dressed bed, that’s for sure :)

Thanks so much for supporting our little linky everyone — Jess and I love all your home and garden inspired posts and are so chuffed to see so many lovely bloggers linking up :)

All we ask is that you follow these 3 little rules:

1) Please include our lovely #HomeEtc badge at the bottom of your post.

The Twinkle Diaries

2) You may link up to two posts — new or old (sometimes the old posts are forgotten about, so please dust them down and show them off; we’d love to read them!)  — but no more than two posts each week please.

3) Please be kind enough to comment on your HOSTS’ POSTS which will always be the first two entries in the link up — plus a couple of others. Blog hops only work if you’re as generous with your comments as you are at sharing your posts.

Be sure to tweet —@twinklediaries or @soot1978 — with the url to your post, using the hashtag #HomeEtc and Jess or I will always retweet (sometimes both of us if you’re lucky)! ;)

Finally, Jess and I will pick one favourite post each week then at the end of the month we’ll choose an overall winner. This lucky blogger will receive a £20 voucher from our fabulous sponsor!

Psst… as well as HomeSense the voucher can also be spent in TK Maxx!

Thanks so much for linking up all your gorgeous home and garden inspired posts. We look forward to reading more of the same this week! The linky portal is open until 11.58pm on Saturday, so lots of time to join in.

Lots of love,

Caro & Jess x
