Home Etc #59

Welcome to this week’s Home Etc.

Last week, I left my partner in crime — Jess — to handle the linky alone, whilst my boys and I were enjoying our first family holiday abroad in beautiful Sardinia — courtesy of Mark Warner.

There’ll be lots more chat about that over the coming days. I downloaded my pictures yesterday and am suffering from the most awful holiday blues *sobs*.

Anyway! For anyone popping by for the first time:

Home Etc is a weekly link up for bloggers who have written posts that include interiors (wish lists, room tours or DIY), garden or allotment ideas, plus crafting or up-cycling.

If you’re a fan of all things ‘home’ and have a post that you’d like to dust down and show off, Jess and I would love you to come and link up with us!

Home Etc Favourites

As I was away last week Jess picked both the favourites.

The first is from Esther who blogs over at Inside Out and About. She shared her bedside table and all it’s treasures.

The second was from Alex who writes at Bump To Baby.

She showed us her favourite pieces of artwork from around their lovely home.

Well done to both of you. Your names are now in the pot, to win this month’s voucher from our generous sponsor, which Jess and I will announce next week.

Thanks so much everyone, for linking in. We really, really enjoy reading all your posts!

All we ask is that you follow these 3 little rules:

1) Please include our lovely #HomeEtc badge at the bottom of your post.

The Twinkle Diaries

2) You may link up to two posts — new or old (sometimes the old posts are forgotten about, so please dust them down and show them off; we’d love to read them!)  — but no more than two posts each week please.

3) Please be kind enough to comment on your HOSTS’ POSTS which will always be the first two entries in the link up — plus a couple of others. Blog hops only work if you’re as generous with your comments as you are at sharing your posts.

Be sure to tweet —@twinklediaries or @soot1978 — with the url to your post, using the hashtag #HomeEtc and Jess or I will always retweet (sometimes both of us if you’re lucky)! ;)

Finally, Jess and I will pick one favourite post each week then at the end of the month we’ll choose an overall winner. This lucky blogger will receive a £20 voucher from our fabulous sponsor!

Psst… as well as HomeSense the voucher can also be spent in TK Maxx!

Thanks so much for linking up all your lovely posts. We look forward to reading more of the same this week! The linky portal is open until 11.58pm on Saturday, so lots of time to join in.

#HomeEtc the hashtag

Finally, Jess and I are thrilled that some of you lovely peeps are using the #HomeEtc hashtag on Instagram! Please do join in – we love seeing your pictures.

Whenever you are on Instagram and posting anything home, interiors, DIY, craft & garden related please do use the #HomeEtc hashtag. We would love to see your Instagram photographs and give them some love!

Lots of love,

Caro & Jess x

I am always so jealous of people who have the eye for interior design. I must confess that I am guilty of just buying pieces and hoping and praying that they look ok together. I never plan rooms as I never know what goes with what. So I love looking at images of other people’s homes as I find that they provide great inspiration!

Aah bless you!! I sometimes feel like that about fashion — some of my friends seem to effortlessly pull a look together. I find it much, much easier with houses!! ;)
