Home Etc #44

Good morning all! I hope you all had a lovely Easter. The boys and I did a little Easter egg hunt and we went up to Yorkshire to visit family. Such a lovely time but the long weekend seems to have sped by so quickly and it’s Wednesday again, which means it’s time for another edition of Home Etc!

Home Etc is a weekly link up for bloggers who have written posts that include home or garden. This could be interiors — wish lists, room tours or DIY — crafting or up-cycling, garden or allotment.

If you’re a home-lover and have a post that you’d like to share, my lovely co-host Jess (mummy of boy girl twins) and I would be delighted for you to come and link up with us!

We had some fab blogs linking up last week — it always amazes me how creative people are with their homes and I absolutely love seeing all of your interior posts — it’s so inspiring!

Our favourites came from Steph who writes over at Hello Baby; she shared her son’s fabulous superhero inspired bedroom makeover.

SUCH a gorgeous space for a growing boy. I particularly liked all of the little superhero themed touches, especially the framed prints and the cool Batman clock.

Another favourite came from Elena who writes over at the blog Spanish Mummy.

She gave us a glimpse into her lovely home and took us on a room tour of her sitting room.

The new fireplace has made SUCH a difference to the space and I absolutely love all of her little accessories.

It’s always these little bits and pieces that give a room some personality and really make a house a home isn’t it?

Well done to you two girls, you’re now in the running to bag this month’s £20 gift card that is so generously given by our sponsor, HomeSense. The winner will be announced next week!

Thanks so much everyone, for linking in. Jess and I really, really enjoy reading all your posts!

All we ask is that you follow these 3 little rules:

1) Please include our lovely #HomeEtc badge at the bottom of your post.

The Twinkle Diaries

2) You may link up to two posts — new or old (sometimes the old posts are forgotten about, so please dust them down and show them off; we’d love to read them!)  — but no more than two posts each week please.

3) Please be kind enough to comment on your HOSTS’ POSTS which will always be the first two entries in the link up — plus a couple of others. Blog hops only work if you’re as generous with your comments as you are at sharing your posts.

Be sure to tweet —@twinklediaries or @soot1978 — with the url to your post, using the hashtag #HomeEtc and Jess or I will always retweet (sometimes both of us if you’re lucky)! ;)

Finally, Jess and I will pick one favourite post each week then at the end of the month we’ll choose an overall winner. This lucky blogger will receive a £20 voucher from our fabulous sponsor!

Psst… as well as HomeSense the voucher can also be spent in TK Maxx!

Thanks so much for linking up all your lovely posts. We look forward to reading more of the same this week! The linky portal is open until 11.58pm on Saturday, so lots of time to join in.

#HomeEtc the hashtag

Finally, Jess and I would like to start promoting the #HomeEtc hashtag on Instagram! Please do join in – we would love you to use it too!

Whenever you are on Instagram and posting anything home, interiors, DIY, craft & garden related please do use the #HomeEtc hashtag. We would love to see your Instagram photographs and give them some love!

Lots of love,

Caro & Jess x
