Home Etc #41

There was such a wealth of inspiration on last week’s Home etc.

Favourite posts came from Steph who blogs at Diary Of  Midlife Mummy. She shared her gorgeous kitchen and celebrated the merits of a sociable kitchen table.

Steph’s lovely kitchen

Gorgeous pics and a really lovely post too.

We totally gravitate around our own kitchen table; we all eat breakfast together around it, plus lunch, tea, coffee breaks, crosswords, colouring, painting crafts and baking.  It’s an old French farmhouse table and over the years has seen a lot of action, although is a bit rougher round the edges than Steph’s lovely glossy number! ;)

Another favourite was posted by Louisa at Life As We Know It.

A couple of week’s ago she shared the first part of her bedroom makeover and  last week it was the grand reveal!

..and the fabulous IKEA hack wardrobes!

SUCH a fabulous transformation!

My favourite feature is the IKEA hack wardrobes. Amazing how the architrave and skirting boards have transformed a stand alone piece of furniture into fantastic built in wardrobes.

Definitely one to bookmark.

  1. Thank you so much for featuring our bedroom makeover! We are half way through our next big job but a laptop failure means I can’t get to my pics to share it yet. I’ve linked up and oldie but a goodie for this week :-) Can’t wait to see what everyone else has shared.

    1. Aah it was INSPIRED!! I absolutely loved it :) Totally LOVE seeing rooms when there’s been such a marked difference in the before and after pics. I’m so delighted that you’re linking up wit us :) So lovely to have you along each week!

  2. Isn’t Louisa’s bedroom makeover fantastic? What an amazing (and I don’t say that lightly) change? Well chosen as a favourite.
I’ll be linking up in a while. A bit behind schedule this week.
