Morning home-lovers! It’s time for another edition of Home Etc with my friend and co-host Jess. Last week we had a record number of folk linking up their amazing home and garden posts — and welcomed lots of new faces as well!
For anyone dipping in for the first time, Home Etc is a weekly link up for bloggers who have written posts that include interiors (wish lists, room tours or DIY) garden and allotment. Plus crafting or up-cycling content are also encouraged ;)
If you’re a budding DIY-er or keen home (or gardening enthusiast) and have a post that you’d like to share, Jess and I would be delighted for you to come and link up with us!
There was such a wealth of inspiration last week.
Favourite posts came from Steph who blogs at Diary Of Midlife Mummy. She shared her gorgeous kitchen and celebrated the merits of a sociable kitchen table.
Gorgeous pics and a really lovely post too.
We totally gravitate around our own kitchen table; we all eat breakfast together around it, plus lunch, tea, coffee breaks, crosswords, colouring, painting crafts and baking. It’s an old French farmhouse table and over the years has seen a lot of action, although is a bit rougher round the edges than Steph’s lovely glossy number! ;)
Another favourite was posted by Louisa at Life As We Know It.
A couple of week’s ago she shared the first part of her bedroom makeover and last week it was the grand reveal!
SUCH a fabulous transformation!
My favourite feature is the IKEA hack wardrobes. Amazing how the architrave and skirting boards have transformed a stand alone piece of furniture into fantastic built in wardrobes.
Definitely one to bookmark.
Well done to both of you! You’re both in the running to win this month’s HomeSense voucher, which will be announced in 4 week’s time.
Thanks so much everyone, for linking in. Jess and I really, really enjoy reading all your posts!
All we ask is that you follow these 3 little rules:
1) Please include our lovely #HomeEtc badge at the bottom of your post.
2) You may link up to two posts — new or old (sometimes the old posts are forgotten about, so please dust them down and show them off; we’d love to read them!) — but no more than two posts each week please.
3) Please be kind enough to comment on your HOSTS’ POSTS which will always be the first two entries in the link up — plus a couple of others. Blog hops only work if you’re as generous with your comments as you are at sharing your posts.
Finally, Jess and I will pick one favourite post each week then at the end of the month we’ll choose an overall winner. This lucky blogger will receive a £20 voucher from our fabulous sponsor!
Psst… as well as HomeSense the voucher can also be spent in TK Maxx!
Thanks so much for linking up all your lovely posts. We look forward to reading more of the same this week! The linky portal is open until 11.58pm on Saturday, so lots of time to join in.
Lots of love,
Caro & Jess x
