Home Etc #40

Oh my life!! HOW can it be Wednesday again?? I literally only managed to finish last week’s comments yesterday, due to my world being turned upside down on Friday (after we found out we’d been picked to be ambassadors for Mark Warner)!

The I went to a fab blogging conference on the weekend, so am totally and utterly behind on everything! And now it’s time for another Home Etc!

Home Etc is a weekly link up for bloggers who have written a post that includes interiors (wish lists, room tours or DIY). Garden or allotment ideas plus crafting or up-cycling content.

If you’re a home-bird and have a post that you’d like to share, my co-host Jess and I would be delighted for you to come and link up with us!

We had the most posts ever, link up with us last week! SUCH a gorgeous lot of inspiration too.

One of my favourite Home Etc regulars mentioned that it was like having a free interiors magazine to read each Wednesday! I love that analogy and feel just the same.

It’s such a treat to read everyone’s posts — even though it’s taken me an entire week to get round to finishing reading them all this week! ;)

And the winner is…

We are also delighted to announce that our winner for this month is the blog Molly and The Princess; a UK Lifestyle and Interiors blog with a focus on simple, but stylish, living.

Molly wins a £20 HomeSense voucher (that can also be spent in TK Maxx) Congratulations to you Molly — we love your posts! Enjoy spending your winnings!

Back to this week

Last week’s favourite posts came from Esther who writes at Inside Out & About.

She linked up a story featuring  the most gorgeous eclectic bedrooms for children. I love all of them but — for fear of literally duplicating her entire post — will only feature a couple of them here!!

Absolutely love both of these images. Especially the artwork on the wall in the 1st photo. Image Sources

Another favourite cam from Katy who blogs at Hot Pink Wellingtons.

She shared her son’s nursery and — wow — what a lovely space! Jess and I LOVED all of the cheerful, bright touches, and I was particularly smitten by the gorgeous rainbow bookends.

A peek into Max’s beautiful nursery.

I always love to see little glimpses of peoples homes.

Seeing real style — rather than styled magazine sets — is so inspiring. I love our little Home Etc community; it’s fab to connect with such a merry band of house-proud folk.

Well done to both of this week’s winners; you’re both in the running to win this month’s HomeSense voucher, which will be announced in 5 week’s time.

Thanks so much everyone, for linking in. Jess and I really, really enjoy reading all your posts!

I’m really looking forward to seeing this week’s blogs.

All we ask is that you follow these 3 little rules:

1) Please include our lovely #HomeEtc badge at the bottom of your post.

The Twinkle Diaries

2) You may link up to two posts — new or old (sometimes the old posts are forgotten about, so please dust them down and show them off; we’d love to read them!)  — but no more than two posts each week please.

3) Please be kind enough to comment on your HOSTS’ POSTS which will always be the first two entries in the link up — plus a couple of others. Blog hops only work if you’re as generous with your comments as you are at sharing your posts.

Be sure to tweet —@twinklediaries or @soot1978 — with the url to your post, using the hashtag #HomeEtc and Jess or I will always retweet (sometimes both of us if you’re lucky)! ;)

Finally, Jess and I will pick one favourite post each week then at the end of the month we’ll choose an overall winner. This lucky blogger will receive a £20 voucher from our fabulous sponsor!

Psst… as well as HomeSense the voucher can also be spent in TK Maxx!

Thanks so much for linking up all your lovely posts. We look forward to reading more of the same this week! The linky portal is open until 11.58pm on Saturday, so lots of time to join in.

Lots of love,

Caro & Jess x
