Home Etc #35

We’ve broken the back of the working week — it’s Wednesday again — and we’re hurtling towards another weekend! Hurrah. It couldn’t come soon enough for me, to tell you the truth!

This week has been tricky to say the least. Bugs (of the winter vomiting variety) have invaded our home and the boys and I have felt pretty miserable, as a result.

I have cheered myself up by immersing myself in all of the lovely posts that linked up to last week’s HomeEtc. There were some really inspirational blogs.

Home Etc is a weekly linky for any bloggers who have written posts that include interiors, DIY, garden or allotment, crafting or up-cycling.

If you’re a home-body and have a post that you’d like to share, my co-host Jess and I would be delighted for you to come and link up with us!

Each month we pick a winner from our favourite posts that have linked up and Jess and I are delighted to announce that this month’s winner of a £20 gift voucher for HomeSense/TK Maxx has been won by Sanna who blogs over at Wave To Mummy.

Jess and I have really enjoyed seeing Sanna’s home renovation updates.

It’s SO lovely to see it all coming together.

Hopefully you can pick out something lovely for your ‘new’ house, with your voucher Sanna!! Well deserved!

Back to last week’s posts and first we must mention our favourites from last week. We loved Natalie’s — Mum In Brum — gorgeous home office.

Natalie’s bright and beautiful home office

Such a lovely use of the  available space and particularly inspirational for me at the moment as I seem to be eating, sleeping and dreaming about my garden office — and how I’m going to kit it out once it’s ready!

Another fabulous post to mention was from Becky who blogs at  Pinks Charming.

She’s partnering IKEA and an environmental charity on a fabulous sustainable living project, in 2016, and her post detailed the inventive and what she — and her family — will be working on over the coming year.

Well done to both of you — you’re in the running to win next month’s voucher from our lovely sponsor HomeSense.

Thanks so much everyone for linking up — we really look forward to seeing this week’s posts.

All we ask is that you follow these little rules:

1) Please include our lovely #HomeEtc badge at the bottom of your post.

The Twinkle Diaries

2) You may link up to two posts — new or old (sometimes the old posts are forgotten about, so please dust them down and show them off; we’d love to read them!)  — but no more than two posts each week please.

3) Please be kind enough to comment on a couple of your HOSTS’ POSTS which will always be the first entries in the link up — plus a couple of others. Blog hops only work if you’re as generous with your comments as you are at sharing your posts.

4) By linking up you give us permission to use images from your blog, if featured. You also allow us to add you to our mailing list, to receive the occasional update or reminder.

Be sure to tweet —@twinklediaries or @soot1978 — with the url to your post, using the hashtag #HomeEtc and Jess or I will always retweet (sometimes both of us if you’re lucky)! ;)

Finally, Jess and I will pick one favourite post each week then in four week’s time we’ll choose an overall winner. This lucky blogger will receive a £20 voucher from our fabulous sponsor!

Psst… as well as HomeSense the voucher can also be spent in TK Maxx!

Thanks so much for linking up all your lovely posts. We look forward to reading more of the same this week! The linky portal is open until 11.58pm on Saturday, so lots of time to join in.

Lots of love,

Caro & Jess x
