Home Etc #31

The final Home Etc of the year!

Jess and I have decided that we’re going to have a couple of weeks off over Christmas so we can start afresh in 2016.

We have both really enjoyed hosting this little linky — it’s brought together such a lovely little community of like minded folk.

Thanks so much to everyone who has joined in over the past 6 months. Amazing to think that we’ve been going for that long. The first Home Etc was on 20th May and we have had so many fabulous blogs linking in week after week. Thanks too to our generous sponsor — HomeSense — for providing the monthly prize! :)

Home Etc is a weekly blog hop for like-minded folk to share any posts that include interiors, DIY, garden or allotment, crafting and up-cycling; basically if it’s at all home related, we would love you to come and link up with us!

Our favourite posts from last week came from:

Rachel at The Ordinary Lovely.

We loved her quirky ‘home coffee bar’ idea.

Beautifully styled — as ever — and full of festive cheer! The perfect gift ideas for a caffeine addict. And I can say with some certainty that the syrups are AMAZING! I bought an Irish Cream one, a couple of week’s ago. Delicious (and nearly all gone).

Another favourite came from Michelle at The Essex Barn.

She’d teamed up with her local John Lewis store with a great post, giving tips on how to decorate the perfect Christmas Tree.

With a gorgeous selection like these, you can’t go far wrong! I love the sunshine face — and also the little owl.

Well done both — your names will go into the hat for the next voucher. The winner will be announced late January.

Jess and I are so looking forward to starting afresh next year. It’s lovely to see how people’s homes and garden change with the seasons and I’m really looking forward to seeing all your posts!

All we ask is that you follow these 3 little rules:

1) Please include our lovely #HomeEtc badge at the bottom of your post.

The Twinkle Diaries

2) You may link up to two posts — new or old (sometimes the old posts are forgotten about, so please dust them down and show them off; we’d love to read them!)  — but no more than two posts each week please.

3) Please be kind enough to comment on your HOSTS’ POSTS which will always be the first two entries in the link up — plus a couple of others. Blog hops only work if you’re as generous with your comments as you are at sharing your posts.

Be sure to tweet —@twinklediaries or @soot1978 — with the url to your post, using the hashtag #HomeEtc and Jess or I will always retweet (sometimes both of us if you’re lucky)! ;)

Finally, Jess and I will pick one favourite post each week then at the end of the month we’ll choose an overall winner. This lucky blogger will receive a £20 voucher from our fabulous sponsor!

Psst… as well as HomeSense the voucher can also be spent in TK Maxx!

Thanks so much for linking up all your lovely posts. We look forward to reading more of the same this week! The linky portal is open until 11.58pm on Saturday, so lots of time to join in.

Wishing you all a very merry Christmas! Hopefully we’ll see you again, with lots more home and garden themed posts,  on 6th January!

Lots of love,

Caro & Jess x
