Amazing how quickly the winter takes a hold isn’t it?
It’s been so dark during the days over the last week; rubbish light for taking photos indoors and often too rainy/blustery/just plain filthy to go outside.
I am definitely not a lover of the cold, dark days. Give me blue skies and sunshine any day of the week!
Last week’s Home Etc posts put a smile on my face though. So nice to see everyone’s lovely projects and homely touches :)
Favourite post came from Becky who writes over at The Spirited Puddle Jumper, who shared her daughter’s gorgeous bedroom makeover.
For a lover of quirky design like me, it was FULL of gorgeous little touches that I totally covet. Especially the wallpaper that was created by Hibou Home; I’ve got my eye on their fabulous Teepees wallpaper for the boys’ room :)
Loved it all and would like to move in myself — Sasha is a lucky girl indeed.
Our other favourite comes from Steph at 139a.
Jess and I both loved this post! On a recent trip to Teignmouth, in Devon, Steph went on a mission and photographed lots of the quirky front doors in the town!
Such a sweet post and exactly the kind of thing I get sidetracked by too — wondering who lives behind the doors. My favourite was this charming little shop front. It reminds me of Emily’s shop in Bagpuss, with it’s window full of lost treasures.
Remember the chocolate biscuit factory? That was definitely my favourite episode!
