Home Etc #144

It was only the night before that I realised I was supposed to be hosting last weeks’ Home Etc.

Oops.

Work most definitely took a back seat over the Easter holidays and, when I should have been preparing my post, I was actually in the New Forest with my boys — hanging out in Dolly — enjoying the incredible spring weather we’d been having.*

*much sarcasm here, it rained and rained the whole time we were away — although the rain definitely didn’t stop play or dampen our fun

It was only when I got a message from Lins that I remembered our little home inspired blog link-up — but thankfully she stepped into the breach!

Home Etc Favourite

It was a very quiet week on last week’s Home Etc but I wanted to mention this little gem from Steph (Life at 139a).

She shared these amazing images that she’d taken at the Ideal Home Show.

I absolutely love the hexagonal framework above the bed (not sure I could live with the trailing ivy though if I’m honest).

I love the restful colours though. What a gorgeous space.

Pop and have a read of Steph’s original post — and see more amazing pictures — if you have a spare couple of minutes.

It offers fantastic inspiration for a restful bedroom.

Well done Steph — you’re in the running to bag next month’s voucher from our lovely sponsor Laura Ashley.

For anyone who’s like to share blog posts in this week’s linky, have a little read of our house rules.

HOME ETC HOUSE-RULES

1) Please include our lovely #HomeEtc badge at the bottom of your post.

The Twinkle Diaries

2) You may link up to two posts — new or old (sometimes the old posts are forgotten about, so please dust them down and show them off; we’d love to read them!) — but no more than two posts each week please.

3) Please be kind enough to comment on your HOSTS’ POST which will always be the first entry in the link up — plus a couple of others. Blog hops only work if you’re as generous with your comments as you are at sharing your posts.

Please be sure to tweet —@twinklediaries or @BooandMaddie — with the url to your post, using the hashtag #HomeEtc and Lins or I will retweet (sometimes both of us if you’re lucky)! ;)

One favourite post will be chosen each week. Then at the end of the month we’ll choose an overall winner. This lucky blogger will receive a £20 voucher from our fabulous sponsor!

Thanks everyone for linking up all your fabulous posts!

And don’t forget to tag any home related pics on Instagram with the #HomeEtc hashtag too.

Lots of love,

Caro x

PS — Remember next week your host is Lins.

Beautiful hexagonal design! Am I right that the little wooden clock is from Next? Definitely looks like the one i’ve seen and admired.

That bed with the hexagonal framework and plants looks amazing. I’d love to visit the Ideal Home Show for some interiors inspo! Hope you had a super holiday despite the rain. We went away to Norfolk last week and it was rainy and drizzly all week but we still managed to make the most of it and going to the beach in the rain was actually loads of fun! xx

It’s incredible isn’t it?! I’ve not been to the Ideal Home Show for YEARS!! The last time we went I came out with armfuls of ‘must-have’ items!! I loved it!! And yes — holiday was fab, despite the rain! Same as you, we definitely made the most of it :)
