Home Etc #140

Happy, happy springtime everyone!

OK, I *know* it still doesn’t feel very spring-like yet but the fact that it was the vernal equinox yesterday — and the clocks go forward this weekend — marks the end of a very, very long winter.

Hurray for that.

I’ve been keeping myself occupied looking at all the lovely ‘springy’ pics over on the Home Etc hashtag on Instagram.

I love how beautifully everyone’s images always sit together.

The grid below is made up of images from all different accounts — but just look how well they work alongside each other.

Definitely a sight for sore eyes and a lovely change from all the images of snow that have been peppering my feed for the last few months.

So nice to see some bright colours.

Home Etc Favourite

Last week’s Home Etc favourite came from one of our old regulars, Karen, who writes over at the blog ‘Well I Guess This Is Growing Up’.

She shared tips on how to paint a fireplace.

How totally gorgeous?! I have always loved Karen’s use of colour.

Please share, if you like this!
