96 weeks and 2 days | word of the week

Back in November, last year, I linked up with the lovely Jocelyn at The Reading Residence and joined in with her ‘Word of the Week’ linky*.

*For anyone wondering, it’s a lovely, fun thing to join in with;  just sum your week up in a single word. That’s it!

Anyway.. time rolled on and what with one thing — or another — I haven’t managed to link up again. Until now!

This week has flown by. The twins have settled in at nursery and, with a few hours on my hands, I have been on a mission to make the changes I resolved to, in my ‘New Years Revolution‘.

My blog is now of the ‘self-hosted’ variety. Tick.

I think I’ve finally gotten my head around the back end of it and have been able to add some lovely plug-ins and features that my free blog didn’t have. Tick (ish).

I’ve totally redesigned it and have made it look more as I’d like it. Tick.

And finally, I’ve written some of the new posts that I’ve been intending to publish. Tick!

So, all in all — in a word — I’d say this week has been very…

Very rewarding indeed! You’ve got so much done, and your blog looks gorgeous. Yellow’s my favourite colour, so this appeals to me! Go, you, and thanks so much for sharing with #WotW x

Well done you and a perfect word to sum it all up! It sounds like you’ve had a bit more success with persevering and pushing thru the techno jargon and getting the blog looking how you want it. Your blog looks great, you should also be proud of your achievements this week!#wordofTheweek

Thanks SO much Tracey — that means a lot! As you know yourself, when you’re starting out, the techno jargon can be absolutely baffling!! I don’t know what half of the plug-ins do — or how they work — still!! But hey, early days! I’m sure I’ll pick it up as I go along!!! Thanks so much for your lovely comments xx
