Home Etc #45

It’s Home Etc time again — and we’re flying towards another weekend! Hurrah. Amazing how much longer the working week feels with that extra day isn’t it! It’s been lovely having 4 days weeks for the last couple, since Easter.

It’s been feeling lovely and springy this week too — lots of blue skies. Perfect for getting us in the mood for spring cleaning and getting the house ship-shape for summer. There have been lots of Home Etc linkers sharing lovely spring-inspired posts too, which has really got me in the mood for a good sort out.

Home Etc is a weekly linky for any bloggers who have written posts that include interiors, DIY, garden or allotment, crafting or up-cycling.

If you’re a home-body and have a post that you’d like to share, my co-host Jess and I would be delighted for you to come and link up with us!

Each month we pick a winner from our favourite posts that have linked up and Jess and I are delighted to announce that this month’s winner of a £20 gift voucher for HomeSense/TK Maxx has been won by Katy who blogs over at Hot Pink wellingtons.

Jess and I both agree that she’s linked up some really fantastic posts over the last month. Her home office tour was definitely one of my faves.

Well done Katy, perhaps you can pick out something lovely for your desk, with your HomeSense voucher!! Well deserved!

Back to last week’s posts and first we must mention our favourites from last week. We loved Natalie’s — Little Jam Pot Life  — gorgeous kitchen makeover.

A really lovely space for a growing family. And growing it is! Soon to be a family of 6, Natalie and her family are expecting a new addition any day now. So exciting :)

Another favourite post to mention was from Ali who blogs at  Mum In A Nutshell.

She linked up a review of gorgeous luxury bedlinen.  If you yearn for crisp new sheets, so pop along and check it out!

Well done to both of you — you’re in the running to win next month’s voucher from our lovely sponsor HomeSense.

Thanks so much everyone for linking up — we really look forward to seeing this week’s posts.

All we ask is that you follow these little rules:

1) Please include our lovely #HomeEtc badge at the bottom of your post.

The Twinkle Diaries

2) You may link up to two posts — new or old (sometimes the old posts are forgotten about, so please dust them down and show them off; we’d love to read them!)  — but no more than two posts each week please.

3) Please be kind enough to comment on your HOSTS’ POSTS which will always be the first two entries in the link up — plus a couple of others. Blog hops only work if you’re as generous with your comments as you are at sharing your posts.

Be sure to tweet —@twinklediaries or @soot1978 — with the url to your post, using the hashtag #HomeEtc and Jess or I will always retweet (sometimes both of us if you’re lucky)! ;)

Finally, Jess and I will pick one favourite post each week then at the end of the month we’ll choose an overall winner. This lucky blogger will receive a £20 voucher from our fabulous sponsor!

Psst… as well as HomeSense the voucher can also be spent in TK Maxx!

Thanks so much for linking up all your lovely posts. We look forward to reading more of the same this week! The linky portal is open until 11.58pm on Saturday, so lots of time to join in.

#HomeEtc the hashtag

Finally, Jess and I would like to start promoting the #HomeEtc hashtag on Instagram! Please do join in – we would love you to use it too!

Whenever you are on Instagram and posting anything home, interiors, DIY, craft & garden related please do use the #HomeEtc hashtag. We would love to see your Instagram photographs and give them some love!

Lots of love,

Caro & Jess x
