Home Etc #15 — Home and Garden Inspired Blog Hop

There are always changes in our cottage as the nights begin to draw in, which marks the changing of the seasons. The AGA is switched back on again and the coal and kindling buckets are filled, in readiness for colder days.

Summer is very nearly over and we’re swiftly moving into autumn. And as well as moving into another season we’ve also completed our third month of Home Etc!

Each month we pick a winner from our favourite posts that have linked up and Jess — my fabulous co-host from mummy of boy girl twins — and I are delighted to announce that this month’s winner of a £20 gift voucher for HomeSense/TK Maxx has been won by Sue who blogs over at Home Heart Harmony.

She’s linked up some really fabulous home inspired blogs over the last few weeks. Everything from furniture makeovers to kitchen wishlists.

Sue was my favourite for two weeks running so it only seemed fair that she should scoop the prize.

Congratulations Sue! We’ll be in touch for your address then your voucher will be hot-footing it’s way to you!!

Last week we had some more amazing posts linking in but — as always — Jess and I can only choose one favourite each.

My favourite came from Lins at Boo and Maddie. It was a post all about a new interiors store she’s found called Barnaby & Co. You know me — I’m a sucker for a lovely homes shop and Barnaby & Co have got some GORGEOUS finds!

Thanks Lins for the tip off (although my boy is cursing you as I’ve already started planning what I’d like to buy) ;)

Jess’ favourite post came from Mum in Brum talking about creating a dream kitchen.

Natalie’s — from Mum In Brum — dream kitchen brought to life!

This is a subject quite close to my heart! I spoke a couple of weeks ago about how I feel about our current kitchen  — and how much I’d like to rip it all out and start again. It’s lovely to see that dreams do, eventually, come true as Natalie’s lovely kitchen is her daydream brought to life.

Congratulations ladies! You’re now in the running to scoop a voucher from our fabulous sponsor — HomeSense — which we’ll announce in five weeks time .

Thanks so much for linking up with Jess and me — we love seeing your posts every week!

All we ask is that you follow these 3 little rules:

1) Please include our lovely #HomeEtc badge at the bottom of your post.

The Twinkle Diaries

2) You may link up to two posts — new or old (sometimes the old posts are forgotten about, so please dust them down and show them off; we’d love to read them!)  — but no more than two posts each week please.

3) Please be kind enough to comment on your HOSTS’ POSTS which will always be the first two entries in the link up — plus a couple of others. Blog hops only work if you’re as generous with your comments as you are at sharing your posts.

Be sure to tweet —@twinklediaries or @soot1978 — with the url to your post, using the hashtag #HomeEtc and Jess or I will always retweet (sometimes both of us if you’re lucky)! ;)

Finally, Jess and I will pick one favourite post each week then at the end of the month we’ll choose an overall winner. This lucky blogger will receive a £20 voucher from our fabulous sponsor!

Psst… as well as HomeSense the voucher can also be spent in TK Maxx!

Thanks so much for linking up all your lovely home and garden inspired posts. We look forward to reading more of the same this week! The linky portal is open until 11.58pm on Saturday, so lots of time to join in.

Lots of love,

Caro & Jess x
