Home Etc #11 — Home and Garden Inspired Blog Hop

Midweek already and it’s time for another Home Etc!

Last week saw some fabulous posts linking up — there were a lot of garden inspired posts, for a change, which was so lovely to see!!  It’s nice to see people using their gardens as another room and my absolute favourite post came from Home Etc regular Steph, who blogs over at 139a.

She combined two of my favourite  topics — gardens and upcycling — and created the most beautiful garden seating with a coat of paint and some new cushions.

The unloved little wrought iron chairs, that she’d found on Ebay, have now been totally transformed and given a new lease of life with sunny yellow paint and some beautiful fabric.

My lovely co-host Jess — from mummy of boy girl twins — moved house last week — I’ve had a little sneak preview and if the kitchen’s anything to go by it’s an absolute stunner!

As a result she’s having a week off to unpack and get settled so I have the pleasure of choosing another post!

I’ve gone for yet another garden inspired blog — this time from Hayley from the blog Hayley from Home. She’s put together such a gorgeous garden wishlist from the fab new range of outdoor furniture at Asda — launched for their #ASDAOutdoors initiative.  I posted about it last week — they’ve got such a gorgeous selection of design led furniture at really great prices.

Funnily enough, Hayley’s selection also featured a sunshine yellow chair! Great minds eh?!

Well done girls — you’re now both in the running to scoop a voucher from our fabulous sponsor — HomeSense — in a couple of weeks!

If you missed these two posts last week, pop along and have a look at them, they’re fabulous. I’m partial to a little bit of yellow so these two blogs really put a smile on my face :)

Thanks so much for supporting this little linky — Jess and I love all your home and garden posts and are delighted to see so many lovely bloggers linking up :)

All we ask is that you follow these 3 little rules:

1) Please include our lovely #HomeEtc badge at the bottom of your post.

The Twinkle Diaries

2) You may link up to two posts — new or old (sometimes the old posts are forgotten about, so please dust them down and show them off; we’d love to read them!)  — but no more than two posts each week please.

3) Please be kind enough to comment on your HOSTS’ POSTS which will always be the first two entries in the link up — plus a couple of others. Blog hops only work if you’re as generous with your comments as you are at sharing your posts.

Be sure to tweet —@twinklediaries or @soot1978 — with the url to your post, using the hashtag #HomeEtc and Jess or I will always retweet (sometimes both of us if you’re lucky)! ;)

Finally, Jess and I will pick one favourite post each week then at the end of the month we’ll choose an overall winner. This lucky blogger will receive a £20 voucher from our fabulous sponsor!

Psst… as well as HomeSense the voucher can also be spent in TK Maxx!

Thanks so much for linking up all your gorgeous home and garden inspired posts. We look forward to reading more of the same this week! The linky portal is open until 11.58pm on Saturday, so lots of time to join in.

Lots of love,

Caro & Jess x
